The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for standardization of equipment, continuous improvement, and the identification of long-term solutions to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent processes. The position requires up to 50% travel.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nCommunication: Support manufacturing to address technical and process related problems, including a root cause analysis. Participate as a liaison between plants and external support providers to identify and resolve equipment and process issues with sustainable long-term solutions.\nCapital Projects: Plan, coordinate, and manage projects as assigned, ensuring they are executed to meet committed targets within budget.\nTechnology: Facilitate technology advancements that include new product and process introduction and manufacturing improvements to reduce waste.\nLean Thinking: Facilitate a culture of \"Lean Thinking\" to include process standardization, setup reduction, and flow layout that results in lower operating cost.\nTraining: Provide process training and support as required.\nQualifications:\n4 Year Bachelor's degree, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.\n1-2 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience highly preferred.\nMust have excellent mechanical aptitude with a “hands-on” approach to job responsibilities.\nMust be a self-starter with the ability to identify root causes and long-term solutions with limited supervision but have a willingness to seek out additional information as needed.
