This role ensures that HR policies and practices are effectively aligned with retail business objectives, fostering a highly engaged, high-performing store workforce.Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & StaffingLead and execute full-cycle recruitment for the corporate and retail positions, including hourly non-exempt and exempt positions.Partner closely with retail operations leadership to assess staffing needs and implement effective recruitment strategies.Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a seamless, positive new-hire experience.2. Employee RelationsServe as the primary HR point of contact for retail employees on HR policies, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution.Promote a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment across all retail locations.Manage employee disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans in alignment with company policies.Provide guidance and support to operations leaders on employee relations matters.3. Performance ManagementSupport the implementation and administration of annual performance review processes for store teams.Coach managers on best practices for employee engagement, recognition, and retention.Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as turnover, absenteeism, and productivity.4. Training & DevelopmentCoordinate and facilitate training programs for retail employees.Ensure store leadership teams are equipped with the necessary HR knowledge and leadership development tools.5. Compliance & HR AdministrationEnsure compliance with labor laws, wage-and-hour regulations, and internal company policies.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HR systems, including attendance, payroll updates, and benefits administration.Support audits, reporting, and documentation related to HR operations.6. Strategic HR SupportCollaborate with HR leadership and retail management to align HR initiatives with broader business goals.Provide data-driven insights on workforce trends, staffing challenges, and retention strategies.Contribute to special projects, such as new store openings and process improvement initiatives.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.3–5 years of HR experience, preferably within a retail or multi-location environment.Solid knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and retail industry standards.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.Key CompetenciesEmployee-centric mindset with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environmentExcellent interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skillsHigh level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalismResults-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
