Business Development Manager (Base + Uncapped Commission)

Today, we connect paid and earned media at scale to deliver brand campaigns with measurable AI visibility to help brands attract and convert pipeline.About the RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for and expected to:Drive Results: Prospect new opportunities through self-generated leads, inbound marketing leads, and the current client base, and consistently apply exceptional salesmanship using consultative and solution-based selling techniques.Conduct consultative discovery: Establish rapport while gathering key information from prospects and clients in order to deliver the best recommendation to fit their objectives and needed outcomes.Sales Process & Product Expertise: Schedule and conduct discovery meetings, proposal overviews and solutions presentations to guide prospects and clients through our productInternal Systems & Collaboration: Utilize internal business systems, such as Sales Force and SalesLoft, to communicate with clients and prospects, log notes and activities, create customer cadence and outreach flows, create standard proposals and customized service packages for clients; Actively contribute and work collaboratively with internal business partners (project managers, writers, editors) to execute and fulfill projects.Closing: Achieve and exceed company and personal activity metrics and sales goals through prospecting, negotiations and overcoming objections. Upsell & Client Retention: Cultivate and maintain existing client relationships to promote value proposition, product usage, grow revenue and encourage renewals and growth with existing clients.Reporting: Accurately and timely log all activity and forecast sales and opportunities within Salesforce.All other duties as assignedAnnual Salary: $150,000-$175,000, this is from the mix of base + uncapped commissionAbout YouYou are a fit for the Business Development Manager role if you have:Strong persuasion and prospecting skills5+ years of B2B sales experience with PR, Marketing, Digital or SaaS audiencesBachelor’s degree in related field preferredDemonstrated top performance in prior rolesDemonstrated ability to build and manage a 1M + book of businessDemonstrated ability to win new business in prior rolesStrong client management skillsExperience selling digital content solutions to agenciesThe self-discipline, skills and determination to meet and exceed goalsExperience tracking business in a CRM, preferably SalesforceWhat’s in it for you?
