As a Server's Assistant you'll have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from highly professional and experienced servers and bartenders.\nWe offer many great benefits such as:\nFlexible schedule\nTuition reduction with EKU\nCompetitive pay\nRequirements and Responsibilities:\nConsistency and Reliability\nCheerful and Positive Attitude\nValue Teamwork\nLove Serving and Helping Others\nPrioritize proper pacing of setting and clearing of menu items such as silverware and plates.\nEnsure food and beverage arrive to guests quickly and correctly; and confirming guest satisfaction\nEnsure proper table maintenance, including water service, pre-bussing, etc.\nAssist servers and bartender by communicating menu changes, and/or other food related information\nQuickly and correctly transport food from the kitchen.\nCommunicate respectfully with chefs (and kitchen team) as necessary\nStocking and preparing service related items\nPerforming opening and closing duties to standards required\nSetting up and detailing dining room and stations to standards required\nAssisting in cleaning and polishing wares\nAssisting in bathroom checks\nFull knowledge of food and beverage menu items including the major components of a dish/drink; this may include ingredients and their source, simple descriptions of unfamiliar ingredients, preparation, and/or execution of correct food and beverage service\nAssisting in deep cleaning of the restaurant\nStar Certification\nFood Handlers Permit\nWe ask you to:\nBe at least 16 years of age\nBe willing and able to work a flexible schedule\nHave the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.\nHave reliable transportation\nApplicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary.
