Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\n\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer to join our team to assist with the maintenance, testing, tuning, and debugging of cloud-based analytics to various production environments. Additionally, the team is charged with re-designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining multiple full-scoped distributed CNO systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with backend and frontend development as well as being a team player who can be a self-starter that can quickly learn new technologies.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nFourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required\nFour (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.\nDesired Skills:\nExperience developing with Java\nOther tools: Maven, GIT, JIRA, LINUX,\nKnowledge of big data, batch/streaming analytic methodologies and frameworks\nWilling to learn additional technologies as required\nExperience with Lucene based open-source search tools like Solr or Elastic Search\nExperience writing analytics\nExperience developing a RESTful API\nExperience in JavaScript/typescript\nExperience in frontend web development and high level javascript frameworks (Angular, React, etc...)\nExperience with Hadoop\nExperience with Apache PIG\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
