As a High Voltage Engineer, you’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of power distribution infrastructure, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.\nQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.\nProficiency in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.\nExperience with AutoCAD Electrical and Bluebeam software is a plus\nStrong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nUnderstanding of safety codes and engineering best practices.\nEagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic engineering team.\nFamiliarity with NFPA 70 and IEEE standards related to substation design.\nKey Responsibilities Assist in the design and analysis of high-voltage power distribution systems.\nReview and select industrial and utility-scale electrical equipment.\nInterpret and apply electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.\nEnsure compliance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), IEEE C2 (National Electric Safety Code), and other relevant IEEE standards.\nSupport substation design and construction projects.\nApply engineering theory and problem-solving approaches to real-world challenges.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project delivery.\nUtilize AutoCAD Electrical and Bluebeam for design and documentation.\nPrepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation using Microsoft Office Suite.\nWhat’s in it for you?
