{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b4fce80e99286aba0808ce0c","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b4fce80e99286aba0808ce0c","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b4fce80e99286aba0808ce0c","title":"SQL Database Architect","description":"Database ArchitectLocation: Austin, TX Duration: 12 Months\r\nTWC is migrating one of its high-usage transactional system from a legacy platform to newer technologies in the cloud and requires a Database Architect with proven experience to:\r\nDocument the “as is” schemas currently in use at TWC in Informix, and SQL Server databases.\r\nDocument existing data interfaces in the legacy system.\r\nDocument existing downstream impacts of the legacy system.\r\nDocument database process that currently extract the data from the existing system for reporting purposes.\r\nCreate data models and reverse and forward engineer data models in an AWS SQL Server environment.\r\nDefine and document the technical architecture of the new transactional system, including the physical components and their functionality.\r\nPerform other analysis and documentation tasks as required to facilitate and support this migration project.\r\nProvide oversight and design of the migration and conversion of legacy data to the new database.\r\nWORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Worker should be qualified to serve as a “Database Architect, Level 1” under the DIR IT Staff Augmentation Contract guidelines.
