This individual will collaborate closely with R&D and Compounding, ensuring appropriate translation of lab batching to the compounding floor, and will provide ownership for all New Product Development pilot and scale-up initiatives to ensure Batch Right First Time.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nOwns technical oversight of the ELID R&D pilot program as part of product commercialization.\nWorks collaboratively with cross-functional partners as part of the New Product Development Stage Gate process.\nProvides manufacturing feasibility assessments during new project brief reviews.\nInterfaces directly with Customers, as needed, to ensure client requirements are met during piloting/scale-up.\nAuthor, review, and/or approve new manufacturing instructions to ensure BRFT.\nDevelop/manage/execute post-batch analyses to identify necessary updates to manufacturing instructions.\nAssists in root Cause analysis for failed batches originating in Compounding.\nRetroactively reviews problematic formulations and proposes processing changes to enable BRFT.\nSupports Compounding by ensuring staff have a basic understanding of formulation principles/methodologies, as well as the challenges and how to address them during batching.\nMaintains an external focus on manufacturing trends with the intention of identifying capacity or capability expansions for ELID.\nLeads CI initiatives as appropriate to the role.\nElevation Labs provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics. Incumbents may be asked to perform other duties as assigned.\nKnowledge & Skills:\nIdeal Candidate Qualifications:\nPossesses technical expertise as required by the listed responsibilities, education, and experience.\nPerforms work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.\nPerforms work using good organizational and time management skills.\nProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.\nWorks with minimum supervision.\nFlexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks in a short amount of time.\nAbility to coach and mentor others.\nPerform essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and safely.\nEducation/Experience:\nBS in Chemical Engineering, or related sciences, required.
