Responsible for continuous leadership, recruitment and training of operator candidates. Promotes strong leadership and influences positive employee morale throughout the location. The above represents the standard Corporate Policy.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvides behind-the-wheel instruction according to corporate and client specifications in all aspects of vehicle operation and passenger transportation, including defensive driving, service area familiarization, passenger loading, unloading and securement.\nConducts classroom training in accordance with corporate and location requirements.\nEnsure all safety manuals, programs, policies, and procedures are current and meet the needs of the location.\nDocument all training activities and ensure accurate completion of all training-related employee records.\nEstablish a relationship withclientand corporate personnel to identify additional training needs, resources, and opportunities.\nPrepares and conducts monthly safety meetings.\nMaintains an adequate and complete employee filing system and participates in audits and inspections to meet client and corporate expectations.\nDirects the location drug & alcohol program to include random drug testing and ensures all files are updated to pass regular audits.\nManages the injury prevention program to reduce the number of workplace injuries.\nConducts accident investigation using root-cause analysis and assigns employee re-training as required.\nResponsible for maintaining/posting OSHA log.\nConducts road observations to evaluate operator safety, customer service, and systematic knowledge of the service.\nProvides coaching and re-training as required on Drive Cam.\nRespond to customer comments related to the service.\nMust be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.\nOther duties as required.\nTravel requirement outside of immediate area (as apercent):\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nMinimum of (3) years’ experience in the passenger transportation industry.\nExperience in location safety management and/or operations management.\nProviding quality training, including the creation and management of training materials.\nMust be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.\nSubject toa DOTdrug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe essential functions of this position require the ability to:\nWork outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.\nSit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces\nPush and pull objects up to 100pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level\nWithstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
