You will identify potential risks, provide technical guidance, foster collaboration to achieve development goals, maintain thorough documentation, and ensure system stability to meet schedule test goals.\r\nJob Duties & Experience\r\nExpert proficiency in Java and enterprise frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot) for modular software design.\r\nExpert experience with designing and implementing REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data integration between Java backends and Vue frontends.\r\nAbility to work with time-series/telemetry data and build complex data visualizations.\r\nProficiency with Git and collaborative source control workflows (e.g., branching strategies, code reviews).\r\nAbility to write clear technical documentation, provide technical mentorship, and communicate effectively in a team environment.\r\nKnowledge of aerospace/mission control telemetry concepts.\r\nREQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE\r\nA bachelor's degree in an associated discipline and a minimum of 4 years of related experience. Or a master's degree in an associated discipline and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Or a PhD in an associated discipline.\r\nIn addition, a Computer Scientist III must possess the following qualifications:\r\nExperience with computer-based systems and applications\r\nProgramming skills in languages used for job-specific programming tasks\r\nFamiliarity with the application of industry standard hardware and software design and documentation techniques\r\nExperience with systems engineering and software development lifecycles\r\nEffective oral and written communication skills\r\nGood planning/organizational skills\r\nThe candidate must possess a valid, state issued driver's license\r\nMust be able to obtain and maintain security clearance\r\nMust be a U.S. citizen.\r\nSALARY\r\nThe expected salary range for this position is $135,000 to $165,000 annually.\r\nNote:The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay.
