(Other duties may be assigned):\n\nMaintains safe work practices at all times and participates in safety programs.\nChanges water knives as needed.\nPerforms waste evaluations and changes grader screens as needed.\nOperates equipment and makes adjustments as needed.\nMaintains even lineflow.\nMonitors and maintains product quality and attributes.\nCommunicates with other personnel: line status, quality, and other problems.\nMust understand function and hazards of various cleaning chemicals, and must be able to perform various product testing procedures.\nMust be able to work independently.\nShoveling product spills.\nCompletes production forms as required.\nEnters checks into computer.\nOTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:\nSanitation of area.\nBreaking of other areas.\nPerforms weekend cleanup as assigned.\nPerforms and participates in AMD drumbeats\nBasic & Preferred Qualifications\nEducation/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)\nHigh School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred\nLock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.\n\nSkills and Experience:\nEffectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. (Requirement may vary by location).\nExperience driving forklift in warehouse or manufacturing establishment preferred.\nMust be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility.\nAbility to perform basic math functions, required.\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer operation knowledge, data entry skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.\n\nPhysical Environment/Demands:\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.\nExposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature\nExposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies\nAbility to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures.\nMust be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.\nRequires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties.
