Stovepipe is a welcoming, safe, and environmentally responsible resort providing accommodations and services inside Death Valley National Park. POWDR operates Stovepipe Wells under a long-term concession contract with the National Park Service.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\r\n\r\nTake direction from F&B Manager.\r\nCommunicate effectively with kitchen staff, visitors, servers and coworkers.\r\nKnow all menu and drink items, ingredients, processes, documentation and labelling practices.\r\nEnsure all new hires know all menu and drink items, ingredients, processes, documentation and labelling practices.\r\nEnsure the work areas are clean and sanitized, good housekeeping, and proper labelling, and storage in line with CA Food Handling Safety Standards.\r\nMaintain CA Food Handler Card and follow set practices in the kitchen environment.\r\nOpen to education/training, coaching and learning on a continuous basis to improve.\r\nStock and organize supplies, refrigerated and frozen items in a maintained, organized environment.\r\nComplete all food safety checks, handwashing, cleaning, sanitizing protocols, wears gloves, in line with food safety.\r\nEnsure all FOH and bar staff complete required opening and closing side work each shift.\r\nComplete all food safety training to ensure compliance.\r\nExercise diligence in food safety processes and participate in audits and corrective actions as directed by leadership.\r\nWhen is ill does not work and reports illness to the management team.\r\nAnswer server and guests' questions and minor complaints and is friendly and accommodating.\r\nBe dressed and for work in a clean, pressed and complete uniform with nametag.\r\nWear clean, proper footwear.\r\nBe helpful and professional with coworkers, respectfully starting and ending shifts on time, and leaving the stations clean, organized, sanitized and prepared for the following shift.\r\n\r\nOther Duties as Assigned\r\n\r\nThis job description is an overview of the scope of responsibilities for this job and is not intended to be an inclusive list of job tasks and expectations.
