We are a growing, close-knit company that values dependable work, job-site safety, and the people who contribute to our success.\nWe are seeking a Construction Laborer to join our San Francisco Bay Area field team. This is a hands-on position involving excavation, material placement, membrane installation, piping, and other physical work on active construction sites.\nThe right candidate will have previous construction-site experience, a strong work ethic, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel when projects require it.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with the installation of methane gas and soil vapor mitigation systems\nInstall sub-slab venting systems and vertical vent risers\nPlace and spread sand, gravel, and rock in designated work areas\nDig trenches using shovels or construction equipment\nInstall heat-welded and spray-applied vapor barriers\nRoll out, position, and secure large sheets of plastic membrane\nAssemble and place plastic piping at ground level\nLoad, unload, carry, and organize tools, equipment, and construction materials\nFollow project plans, supervisor instructions, and established installation procedures\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area\nFollow all company, job-site, and regulatory health and safety requirements\nAttend company-provided training when required\nPerform other related field duties as assigned\nRequired Qualifications\nAt least one year of experience working on commercial or residential construction sites as a laborer, technician, foreman, or in a comparable hands-on role\nFamiliarity with construction tools, materials, and job-site expectations\nStrong work ethic, dependability, and professional integrity\nAbility to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record\nReliable transportation to job sites throughout the San Francisco Bay Area\nAbility to commute to East Bay and surrounding job-site locations, including Mountain View, Fremont, Oakland, San Leandro, Walnut Creek, Sunnyvale, San Jose, and other locations\nWillingness to travel and remain out of town when required, including occasional out-of-state assignments\nAvailability to work the standard Monday through Friday schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.\nFlexibility to work occasional nights or weekends when project schedules require it\nAbility to successfully complete a drug screening and background check\nAuthorization to work in the United States\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience in waterproofing, concrete, roofing, or a related construction trade\nExperience operating equipment such as a backhoe, skid steer, excavator, or forklift\nBilingual English and Spanish communication skills\nPhysical and Work Requirements\nThis is a physically demanding field position performed primarily outdoors on active construction sites.
