(SAECO) provides geotechnical engineering, construction QA/QC, and environmental services to clients across the Southwestern U.S. The firm is locally owned and operated and is headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. We have excellent opportunities for full-time and part-time employment opportunities in our Tempe office for entry-level and mid-level Field and Laboratory Technicians. ATTI Soils and/or ACI Concrete certifications are preferred, but not required, for experienced candidates. For entry level technicians, we will provide all of the necessary training and assistance needed to become successful in this field.\nJob Requirements:\nPerform routine field and laboratory testing as directed. Including:\nSoils Testing: Perform field density testing or laboratory testing.\nConcrete Testing: Sample concrete at the project site and perform field testing as required during the placement of the concrete.\nHot Mix Asphalt: Sample hot mix asphalt at the project site or plant. Perform field testing during the placement of the hot mix asphalt.\nFollow company safety policies, including driving and working safely.\nThe employee will be frequently required to work outside including off-hours (early morning or weekends). The employee will be frequently required to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be considered to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nDrug Screening Required.\nRequired Skills:\nBasic math skills\nAbility to clearly communicate in English, both verbally and in writing\nAbility to read maps and follow directions\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of 0 to 5 years related work experience.\nLicenses and Certifications:\nValid driver’s license with satisfactory history\nATTI Soils and ACI Concrete Field Testing Certification, preferred.
