As an employee-owned organization, we take pride in the work we accomplish.\n\nAs a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the design of municipal, county, and roadway projects; lead a multi-disciplinary team using your technical and management skills; utilize your technical expertise by being hands-on during the design process; educate your team by providing technical direction and expertise; use project management skills for organizing, planning, and directing work activities and budgets; foster and build a client base through interpersonal relationships; construction management; and contribute to business development opportunities including preparing proposals and leading client meetings.\nKnowledge of the Following is Preferred:\nSite development\nKnowledge of state and federal codes and regulatory agency requirements\nDesign and rehabilitation of water distribution systems\nDesign and rehabilitation of sewage collection systems\nPreparation of Preliminary Engineering Reports for water and wastewater facilities\nExperience with municipal, county, and DOT facilities\nUnderstanding of municipal, county, and state governments\nUnderstanding of department of transportation design and construction process\nInterest in transportation, hydraulics, and municipal engineering\nCommercial site development plans\nSubdivisions\nStormwater collection and stormwater detention/retention/reuse systems\nBasic surveying\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field\nLicensed Professional Engineer in North Dakota or ability to obtain within one year\nTechnical knowledge of engineering principles and practices\nExperience with project management, proposal development, and marketing\nThe capability of supervising, mentoring, and evaluating staff\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team atmosphere is vital\nGood driving record and valid driver’s license.\nAbility to use civil engineering software such as AutoCAD\nProficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nAbout Us\nOur Benefits\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree\nJob Type\nPart-time\nWe are an equal-opportunity employer.
