Other responsibilities include cleaning, handling recyclables and waste, and operating packaging, sealing equipment, and plastic materials. The Associate must possess basic computer skills and will follow instructions from a Production Supervisor. Attention to detail, quality, and speed in processing are essential. The Associate should bring positive energy to the team through professional communication, efficient effort, and teamwork.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nProduct Assembly: Assemble entire products or components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates. Utilize prints, spec sheets, and verbal/written instructions to assemble, modify, troubleshoot, or reassemble units. Set up and operate machines for assembly, processing, or repairing individual products while following established processes and parameters.\nWork Area Maintenance: Keep work area, equipment, and machines clean and orderly at all times. Maintain supplies by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, and requesting supplies as necessary.\nTeam Collaboration: Work effectively as a team member with a positive attitude to resolve issues. Adapt to working at different stations based on production needs.\nQuality Control: Perform quality inspections at every step of the process to ensure compliance with quality standards. Monitor the quality of components and communicate any issues to the supervisory team.\nCultural Contribution: Build a strong team culture through servant leadership principles: be authentic, vulnerable, accepting, present, and useful. Create a work environment where people can do their best and find meaning. Address negative issues promptly and seek formal evaluations of job skills from direct supervisors.\nJob Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:\n\nProficiency with hand tools and ratchets.\nAbility to read technical prints and diagrams.\nCapability to stand, sit, or walk on hard surfaces for up to 8 hours a day (occasionally up to 12 hours), including bending, stooping, reaching, and using ladders.\nAbility to perform visual inspections of components and finished subassemblies.\nAbility to work efficiently in a high-paced environment under pressure.\nGood mobility and ability to lift loads of 25-65 lbs. routinely.\nCompliance with occupational safety programs.\nBasic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and data entry.\nAbility to follow oral or written instructions accurately.\nWorking Conditions:\n\nWork is performed in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment with substantial interaction with employees, equipment, and customers.\nThe warehouse environment has continuous activity and moderate noise.\nSignificant time is spent standing and walking.
