An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required; Top Secret is preferred.\r\nJob Summary\r\nThe Software Engineer III will design, develop and maintain mission-critical software to support missile warning systems. The role is 100% on-site and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams in a secure environment.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDevelop, create, modify, operate, integrate, test and maintain software systems or platforms.\r\nWrite and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.\r\nContainerize existing codebases using Docker and other container technologies.\r\nAnalyze user needs and develop software solutions.\r\nEnsure the security of software and systems.\r\nWork with Agile teams in high-level design, development, implementation, integration, and verification of software components.\r\nAttend and participate in large-scale Agile planning events and standard Agile meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives).\r\nDevelop software program documentation and operational procedures.\r\nProvide diagnostic support to correct processing anomalies in complex computer programs.\r\nAssist in preparing specifications and other activities that require knowledge of programming principles and techniques.\r\nInterpret requirements and perform analysis to ensure that objectives are met.\r\nQualifications\r\n4+ years of relevant experience in software engineering.\r\nStrong experience with Java skills required.\r\nExperience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Google Test, or similar.\r\nExperience containerizing applications using Docker (Kubernetes experience a plus).\r\nHands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.\r\nBroad expertise in development languages, tools and environments for software-centric solutions.\r\nAbility to produce design documentation and as-built documentation with little or no assistance.\r\nSecurity Clearance\r\nMinimum ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance required; Top Secret preferred.\r\nEducation & Certifications\r\nBachelor's Degree preferred.\r\nSalary Range\r\n$14,000 – $175,000 USD (actual salary will vary based on factors such as location, experience, and skills).\r\nBenefits\r\nComprehensive medical, dental and vision plans for you and your dependents.\r\n401(k) retirement plan with employer match, 529 college savings plan, health savings account, life insurance and long-term disability.\r\nCompetitive compensation.\r\nTraining and development programs.\r\nMajor offices stocked with snacks and beverages.\r\nCollaborative and inclusive culture.\r\nWork-life balance and generous paid time off.\r\nEEO Statement\r\nTrace3 is an equal opportunity employer.
