This role is ideal for a construction professional looking to grow into a Project Manager position while gaining hands-on experience in preconstruction, submittal management, subcontractor coordination, and project closeout processes.\r\nEssential Duties And Responsibilities\r\nProject Coordination & Administration\r\nAssist in managing day-to-day project operations and communications.\r\nSupport project start-up activities, including permits, mobilization, and preconstruction documentation.\r\nTrack and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and shop drawings in a timely manner.\r\nCoordinate with architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors to facilitate project execution.\r\nScheduling & Planning\r\nWork with the Project Manager and Superintendent to develop and maintain project schedules.\r\nMonitor progress against the schedule, identifying potential delays or conflicts early.\r\nAssist in coordinating project logistics, including deliveries, inspections, and material tracking.\r\nCost Management\r\nHelp prepare and maintain project budgets, cost reports, and forecasts.\r\nReview subcontractor and vendor invoices for accuracy and coordinate timely payment processing.\r\nTrack change orders and help prepare documentation for client review and approval.\r\nSubcontractor Management\r\nDistribute plans, specifications, and other contract documents to subcontractors and vendors.\r\nSupport the procurement process by soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids.\r\nCoordinate subcontractor activities to maintain compliance with project scope, schedule, and safety.\r\nDocument Control\r\nMaintain and update project documentation including drawings, specifications, logs, and reports.\r\nAssist in managing digital platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or other construction management software.\r\nEnsure all project records are complete and organized for handover or closeout.\r\nQuality & Safety\r\nSupport quality assurance activities through inspections and compliance checks.\r\nReinforce adherence to safety protocols and documentation requirements on-site.\r\nParticipate in safety meetings and assist in maintaining safety logs and reports.\r\nProject Closeout\r\nAssist with final inspections, punch list completion, and turnover documentation.\r\nCoordinate O&M manuals, warranty letters, and as-built drawings.\r\nHelp ensure all closeout deliverables are received and filed correctly.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).\r\n2–5 years of experience in construction project management for a general contractor.\r\nFamiliarity with construction drawings, specifications, and processes.\r\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and email; and must have the capability of becoming proficient with various programs and applications related to the work such as Smart Sheet, Procore, Building Connected, and other project management software.\r\nOSHA 30, or ability to acquire, is required.\r\nStrong problem-solving and organizational skills.\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication.\r\nAbility to multitask, manage priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.\r\nPay & Benefits\r\nThe anticipated compensation range for the position is $80,000 to $90,000, is based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience.
