The Emergency Call Handling solution team is one business sleeve of the Motorola Solutions Software Enterprise where innovation of workflow enhancements are being developed for call handling, incident management, responder dispatching and situational awareness. As a software developer, you will be joining a team developing a next generation 911 call handling solution that complies with industry standards and market demands, is capable of being deployed as a service or on-premises and meets high availability requirements our users have come to expect of 911 services. The team will utilize development talent across multiple design centers using Agile scrum methodology.\r\nJob Description\r\nWe are looking for someone to analyze, develop, design, and maintain software for the organization's products and systems. Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency. Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation. You will be at the part of a team of building and maintaining the highly available private cloud infrastructure that powers our call handling NG911 systems, directly impacting public safety.\r\nTechnical skills\r\n\r\n\r\nDevOps Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in Helm, MySQL, Kubernetes, and CI/CD Pipelines.\r\n\r\n\r\nYou will play a key role in building, maintaining, securing and deploying scalable public and private cloud infrastructure and systems.\r\n\r\n\r\nAutomate deployment, scaling and monitoring of systems on that infrastructure\r\n\r\n\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines\r\n\r\n\r\nBuild and manage containerized applications\r\n\r\n\r\nProvision and support configuration of relational databases with an emphasis on high availability, security and reliability\r\n\r\n\r\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability\r\n\r\n\r\nContribute to the creation and operation of robust disaster recovery and backup strategies\r\n\r\n\r\nManage developer tooling\r\n\r\n\r\nEnsure compliance with regulatory, compliance and security frameworks\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge with web application development (ex.: Angular, Javascript)\r\n\r\n\r\nBasic analysis, unit testing and exploratory testing knowledge\r\n\r\n\r\nSoftware Development: understanding of object-oriented coding and design, design patterns\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge of Git and Git workflows\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong level of curiosity, willingness to learn and interest in new technologies.\r\n\r\n\r\nFast learner with good communication skills.\r\n\r\n\r\nNice-to-have requirements:\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) Practical knowledge of one or more of these technologies (at least on a basic level): Spring Boot, Angular, Terraform, Kubernetes\r\n\r\n\r\nUnderstanding of Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred)\r\n\r\n\r\nUnderstanding of Agile Scrum Experience and working in a CI/CD environment (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)\r\n\r\n\r\nAble to troubleshoot and debug issues on basic networking, knowledge of Wireshark\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always up, always-available service environment.\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge of application layer protocols, including SIP, RTP, HTTP, SOAP/REST, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, TLS, WebRTC.\r\n\r\n\r\nFamiliarity with tools for systems management, operational support, and performance monitoring.\r\n\r\n\r\nFamiliarity with modern development operations tooling (Trace based application performance monitoring, docker containers, and similar)\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience in scripting languages (e.g.Bash, Python, Ruby).\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience with virtualization technologies (e,g PROXMOX, VMware ESXi, KVM).\r\n\r\n\r\nHands on experience with automation of infrastructure and application deployments (ex.: Ansible, Terraform).\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).\r\n\r\n\r\nUnderstanding of networking concepts and principles and security best practices\r\n\r\n\r\nSoft skills\r\n\r\n\r\nCommunication and collaboration skills.\r\n\r\n\r\nProblem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.\r\n\r\n\r\nAttention to detail and a commitment to quality.\r\n\r\n\r\nOpen to learning new technologies and adapting to changing requirements.\r\n\r\n\r\nWe will be accepting applications between 03/11/2026 and 06/11/2026.\r\nTarget Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000 USD.\r\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
