The Engineer will be required to design, install and configure cloud and hybrid environments to effectively integrate the customer on premises network with the customer’s cloud environment including servers, storage, and other networking devices. The Engineer will document, demonstrate and transfer knowledge regarding the setup and operation of each individual solution being delivered directly with the customer for future support needs. The Engineer will provide the customer with written documentation including configurations, procedures, and diagrams of the solution based on best practices.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nDesign, configure, test, and deploy cloud and hybrid network solutions.\nDesign, deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and services.\nDesign and implement Azure networking solutions, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall, and related services.\nDesign, configure, and manage Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, RBAC, and identity management solutions.\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools.\nImplement and maintain Azure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM, Terraform, or similar technologies.\nAutomate cloud administration and deployment tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation tools.\nPlan and execute Azure and Microsoft 365 migrations, including assessment, implementation, testing, cutover, validation, and postmigration support.\nPerform Microsoft 365 migrations, including Exchange Online/email, SharePoint, OneDrive, and file migrations.\nPlan and execute Active Directory to Microsoft Entra ID migrations, including identity, authentication, and device enrollment.\nDesign, configure, and implement Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot, including device enrollment, policies, application deployment, and compliance.\nDevelop migration plans, project schedules, testing procedures, cutover and rollback strategies, and related technical documentation.\nTroubleshoot complex cloud, networking, identity, security, and endpoint issues and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.\nEvaluate existing environments and provide recommendations for modernization, cloud adoption, security, infrastructure improvements, and operational best practices.\nOTHER DUTIES\nAccomplishes all other duties and tasks as appropriately assigned or\n\nrequested.\n\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field or 5+ years’ experience in related field.\nMicrosoft certifications in Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, or related technologies are preferred.\nRelevant certifications may include Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.\nEquivalent handson experience with Microsoft cloud, identity, endpoint management, and migration technologies may be considered in lieu of certification.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nExperience with Microsoft Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, VPN Gateway, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Key Vault, and App Services.\nStrong understanding of Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, private endpoints, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall, and load balancing.\nExperience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Azure environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools.\nExperience planning and executing Azure cloud migrations, including assessment, design, implementation, validation, and postmigration support.\nExperience planning and executing Microsoft 365 migrations, including Exchange Online/email, SharePoint, OneDrive, and file/data migrations.\nExperience planning and executing Microsoft Entra ID migrations, including identity assessment, tenant configuration, user and group migration, authentication, and postmigration support.\nExperience designing, configuring, and deploying Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot, including device enrollment, configuration, compliance, application deployment, security, and device management.\nExperience with MFA, SSO, and federated identity technologies.\nExperience with virtualization platforms, including VMware ESXi, Microsoft HyperV, and/or Proxmox.\nAbility to support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016+, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, PowerShell, antivirus/security, and enterprise backup solutions.\nKnowledge of Linux server environments.\nStrong troubleshooting skills with escalated enduser identity, authentication, and MFA issues.\nAbility to develop and maintain technical documentation, migration plans, and operational procedures.\nMicrosoft certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, or Intune are preferred.\nAbout Brite\nBrite People.
