This is an opportunity to contribute to high-profile government and industrial security projects while expanding your expertise in software development, electrical controls, IT, and automation.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nDesign & Develop: Build integrations that connect diverse systems and platforms for seamless functionality.\nPLC & HMI/SCADA: Assist in programming PLCs (e.g., Modicon Momentum, Allen Bradley 5000) and develop interfaces using tools like Wonderware InTouch—deploying solutions that follow industry best practices.\nSystem Integration: Analyze, design, write, code and implement secure communications between video, intercom, and access control systems.\nTechnical Support: Provide expert guidance to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.\nProcess Optimization: Identify and implement continuous improvements in system design and deployment.\n\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\nRequired Skills & Experience\nProgramming Skills – Experience in VB.NET and/or C# (or similar languages)\nPLC & HMI/SCADA Experience – 4+ years programming or troubleshooting PLCs (preferably Modicon Momentum or Allen Bradley 5000) and Wonderware Intouch.\nElectrical Control System Design – Strong understanding of electrical schematics, panel layout, and control networks (AutoCAD experience a plus).\nNetworking Knowledge – Familiarity of IP networking, serial communications, and system integrations.\nProblem-Solving & Self-Motivation – Ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and optimize system performance.\nStrong Communication Skills – Experience collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams.\nHands-on Troubleshooting and Software Experience – 2+ years in electrical engineering, automation, or security technology.\nSecurity Clearance – Must pass government background checks.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in Security Systems – Familiarity with access control, video surveillance, and intercom systems.\nDegree or Equivalent Experience – Associate or Bachelor’s in Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field.\nWHY JOIN SGTS, INC.?\nWe offer a dynamic and flexible work environment that values work-life balance and professional growth.
