As Lambda expands into enterprise and dedicated region offerings, the Console becomes increasingly strategic.\r\nWe are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Console Experience team.\r\nAbout the Role\r\nYou will lead a team of frontend and full-stack engineers responsible for Lambda's customer-facing cloud console and related API integrations.\r\nThis is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be responsible for execution, team health, and technical direction while staying close to architecture and design decisions.\r\nYou'll partner closely with Product, Design, API Experience, Billing, Control Plane, Support and Platform teams to translate complex infrastructure capabilities into intuitive, reliable workflows for customers.\r\nThis role is ideal for someone who has led a team before and wants to grow into a broader platform and organizational ownership over time.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\nLead and grow a team of ~4–6 engineers focused on Lambda's cloud console\r\nOwn execution of roadmap initiatives across identity, billing, cluster lifecycle, support and governance workflows\r\nPartner closely with Product and Design to define clear scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs\r\nDrive architectural decisions around frontend systems, API integration, and performance\r\nEnsure high standards for quality, reliability, and maintainability\r\nBalance shipping velocity with foundational improvements\r\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Control Plane, Billing, Support and Platform teams to deliver cohesive experiences\r\nMentor engineers and help them grow technically and professionally\r\nContribute to a culture of documentation, ownership, and accountability\r\nYou\r\n7+ years of industry experience in software engineering\r\n3+ years of engineering management experience\r\nBuilt or led customer-facing web applications, ideally in SaaS, cloud, or infrastructure environments\r\nComfortable reviewing and reasoning about frontend and backend code (React, TypeScript, APIs, etc.)\r\nCan drive clarity in ambiguous problem spaces\r\nCare about user experience, even when building infrastructure-heavy systems\r\nComfortable navigating cross-team dependencies in a fast-moving environment\r\nExperience balancing roadmap delivery with operational and technical debt work\r\nNice to Have\r\nExperience building cloud console interfaces\r\nExperience working in a high-growth startup\r\nExposure to enterprise customers or governance features\r\nSalary Range Information\r\nThe annual salary range for this position has been set based on market data and other factors.
