This role ensures seamless integration, validation, and support of EV charging products (portable cordsets) at the customer site, driving customer success through proactive engineering support and issue resolution.\n\nIn your daily job you will:\n\nAct as the on-site technical representative for EV charging products at the OEM facility.\nProvide hands-on support for\nproduct integration, validation, and troubleshooting.\nCollaborate with OEM engineering teams to resolve technical issues promptly.\nSupport launch activities, including pre-production builds and validation testing.\nMonitor and report product performance, quality concerns, and field issues.\nCoordinate with internal engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive corrective actions.\nAssist in root cause analysis and implement solutions for customer-reported issues.\nProvide technical training and documentation to OEM teams as needed.\nEnsure compliance with OEM specifications, standards, and program timelines.\nRepresent the company in daily/weekly customer meetings and program reviews.\n\nYOUR BACKGROUND\nKey skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field (or equivalent experience).\n3+ years of experience in automotive engineering, preferably in EV charging or electrical systems.\nStrong understanding of EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) and related standards.\nHands-on experience with diagnostics, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical components.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for direct customer interaction.\nAbility to work independently on-site and manage multiple priorities.\nFamiliarity with OEM program development processes and APQP is a plus.\nWillingness to travel\n\nWHY JOIN US?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
