We are looking for exceptional engineers to join our team and help us build the next generation of our AI-powered talent platform.\n\nAbout the Job\nAs the Lead Frontend (UI) Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining web applications using React and other modern frontend technologies. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create user-friendly interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in front-end development, and building products used by millions of Users.\n\nResponsibilities:\nArchitect and develop robust, scalable, and configurable applications and modules with an emphasis on quality, performance, design, and re-usability.\nDevelop and maintain web applications using React and other modern frontend technologies\nBuild and ship new software features and product enhancements.\nCollaborate with Product Management, Design, and the rest of Engineering to re-iterate and enhance our product and to create user-friendly interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience\nParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other engineers\nWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code\nStay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development\nPrototype new ideas and iterate toward the ideal user experience\nParticipate in technical discussions and plans to improve our overall software quality\nHandle enterprise customer escalation issues as needed\nQualifications:\nBS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred\n6-10++ years of hands-on experience in building and shipping end user-facing frontend features.\nStrong coding and technical design skills for user-friendly frontend interfaces\nPassion for simple, scalable, performant and beautiful user interfaces.\nExperience with React framework or other modern frontend technologies (VueJS, NextJS, Angular etc)\nComfortable in latest FE technologies like hooks, modern CSS, Typescript\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills\nEffective communication and collaboration skills\nStrong leadership and mentorship experience\nExperience with SaaS and AWS/Azure/GCP is preferred\nPassion for applying AI technologies to usable interfaces\nAs much experience in knowledge/experience of relevant technologies to our tech stack (see below)\n\n\nOur Tech Stack:\nPython, Flask, SQL, Bash\nReact, Redux, JavaScript, Typescript, Webpack, NextJS, JSON\nApache Spark, Solr, Mysql, Docker\nMajor AWS services like Aurora, S3, Redshift, Cloudformation, SNS, SQS\nExtensive use of AI and machine learning technologies\n\nPay Transparency\nPlease note this role is categorized as hybrid in Santa Clara, CA The base salary ranges below are provided for pay transparency. Base pay is only one piece of our total compensation package as this role may be eligible for bonus and equity awards. Compensation varies depending on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and zone which is determined by location.\nZone A is in SF Bay Area, CA .
