Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Scrum Master to support a major national laboratory.Candidate will work closely with the product development team to ensure that the work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the desired level of quality. Additionally, candidate will serve as a coach and mentor to our team – helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives consistently. Support will be 50% DataSEA & 50% MBSE Capability.Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within the teamGuide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practicesEnsure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality productsWork with the Product Owner to prioritize the product backlogFacilitate Scrum events such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospectiveIdentify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team's progressPromote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessionsCommunicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholdersTrack KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on timeBachelor's degree in IT-related field or similar discipline, plus 2 years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of jobMaintain an active DOE Top Secret Q Clearance or DoD Top Secret with Reciprocity to StartU.S. Citizenship is required.• Onsite 3 days per week to meet mission deliverables/meet service level agreement requirementsRequired Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsStrong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practicesAbility to lead and facilitate Scrum eventsPrior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as JiraDesired Skills:Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)Familiarity with the Nuclear Security Enterprise and the Nuclear Deterrence missionAbout Us:Edgewater Federal Solutions is a privately held government contracting firm located in Frederick, MD.
