An Automotive Warranty Administrator specializes in managing the full lifecycle of warranty claims related to standard manufacturer warranties. Reporting to the Fixed Operations Manager and supporting a medium-sized team, this role ensures accurate documentation, timely processing, and coordination between service departments, customers, and manufacturers. The administrator handles claim submissions, dispute resolutions, and compliance monitoring to maintain seamless warranty operations.
Responsibilities
Process, submit, and track warranty claims to manufacturers or suppliers
Review repair orders and verify documentation accuracy before claim submission
Monitor warranty policy changes and ensure compliance in all claims
Investigate and resolve denied or disputed warranty claims
Coordinate communication between customers, technical staff, and vendors regarding coverage and repairs
Required Qualifications
2+ years experience in automotive warranty administration or related field
Strong understanding of automotive repairs and warranty processes
Proficiency with DMS systems and office software such as Excel and Word
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automotive warranty systems
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical knowledge related to automotive repair
