Solidus applies a technically rigorous, capital-disciplined approach to mine development, with a strong emphasis on environmental stewardship, operational safety, and community engagement.The Spring Valley Gold Project is located in the prolific Humboldt Range, an area with approximately 60 million ounces of gold endowment within a 50-mile radius. Envisioned as a long-life, low-cost open-pit, heap-leach operation, Spring Valley has a robust resource base and considerable exploration upside along a 7-mile strike length across the Black Ridge fault zone.With a leadership team experienced in engineering, permitting, and large-scale project execution, Solidus Resources is advancing Spring Valley through feasibility, permitting, and construction, with a clear path toward operational readiness. The company’s goal is to responsibly unlock the value of U.S.-based gold assets while building a reputation for excellence in project delivery and sustainable development.Position Overview:The HR Generalist is responsible for administering and supporting a broad range of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training, and HR program execution. This role partners closely with employees to ensure consistent application of HR policies, compliance with employment laws, and effective, positive employee experience across the organization.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Workforce Logistics SupportSupport the implementation and ongoing administration of travel, transportation, and accommodation programs for site personnelAssist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and controls related to workforce logisticsCoordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support travel, fleet, and housing operationsHelp maintain scalable processes that align with workforce growth and operational demandsCoordinate employee travel arrangements for rotational schedules (FIFO/DIDO, if applicable), in alignment with operational needsServe as a point of contact for travel-related inquiries and support travel agency coordinationMonitor travel logistics to help ensure workforce movement is timely and efficientAssist in administering fleet programs, including vehicle assignments, utilization tracking, and maintenance coordinationSupport fuel card administration, reporting, and compliance with internal controlsHelp monitor adherence to safety standards and company policies related to fleet and transportationCoordinate employee housing assignments and accommodationsServe as a liaison with housing vendors to address issues and maintain service standardsTrack housing capacity and support planning efforts based on workforce projectionsTrack budget for travel, fleet, and accommodation expensesSupport cost analysis and reporting efforts, including vendor comparisons and utilization reviewsIdentify and escalate potential cost-saving opportunities General HR AdministrationServe as a resource to employees for HR-related questions, providing guidance consistent with company policySupport ongoing HR initiatives, projects, and process improvementsMaintain and track compliance with required and optional training programs, including safety, anti-harassment, certifications, and continuing educationSupport training and development initiatives aligned with organizational and workforce needsMaintain accurate training records and assist with audit readinessSupport employee relations matters by assisting with workplace investigations and dispute resolution under HR leadership guidanceParticipate in employee disciplinary meetings and help ensure appropriate documentation and process consistencyAssist with terminations and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company policy and legal requirementsSupport full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, applicant screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communicationsCoordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks, employment eligibility verification, and onboarding requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable lawsQualifications:3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, with exposure to recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal, coaching, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.Maintains current knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Experience using AI tools.Proficiency with, or ability to quickly learn, the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
