A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Drive functional and technical delivery of key team and org-wide programs/initiatives. Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers and other cross functional partners to define, scope, and drive large programs to conclusion., and (ii) Own the team-level portfolio; maintaining a single source of truth for commitments, capacity, dependencies, and status across all active lines of work. Requires 7+ years of program or project management experience in a software/AI engineering, hardware-software integration or infrastructure environment and a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field with a PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, A-CSM or equivalent certification.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\n\nDrive functional and technical delivery of key team and org-wide programs/initiatives. Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers and other cross functional partners to define, scope, and drive large programs to conclusion.\n\nOwn the team-level portfolio; maintaining a single source of truth for commitments, capacity, dependencies, and status across all active lines of work.\n\nServe as the primary interface between the product team and engineering teams, translating business commitments (contracts, growth targets, customer deployments) into engineering capacity plans and surfacing tradeoffs before they become misses.\n\nDesign, implement, and maintain the dashboards, cadences, KPIS, and reporting frameworks to achieve goals with well-defined success criteria & give senior leadership clear, accurate visibility into portfolio health without noise. Leverage data and acquired knowledge to drive strategic decisions at an engineering leadership level.\n\nPartner with engineering leads across Hardware, Platform/Cloud, and Eng Ops to maintain a real-time view of capacity versus committed demand, and drive prioritization decisions when they conflict.\n\nDrive end-to-end delivery of strategic programs that span multiple engineering pillars and business functions, including customer-facing deployments, new product launches, and operational scaling initiatives.\n\nCreate and communicate widely circulated plans, driving consistency, clarity and building alignment across teams. Help influence peers / leaders and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity.\n\nComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.\n\nProtect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.\n\nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.\n\nContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field.\n\nPMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, A-CSM, or equivalent certification.\n\n7+ years of program or project management experience in a software/AI engineering, hardware software integration or infrastructure environment.\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage large, complex programs spanning multiple engineering teams with competing priorities.\n\nStrong technical background — you don't need to write production code, but you must be able to engage deeply with engineers on technical tradeoffs, architecture decisions, and delivery constraints.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication; proven ability to tailor message and level of detail to the audience.\n\nExperience working in agile/scrum environments; comfortable with Jira, Confluence, and similar tools.\n\nProven track record of operating effectively in matrixed organizations with distributed, cross-functional teams.\n\nFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), container orchestration (Kubernetes), or GitOps (ArgoCD).\n\nExperience driving AI, DevEx, developer productivity, or internal platform initiatives.\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\nBackground in building internal platform-as-a-product programs or developer self-service tooling.\n\nExperience partnering with hardware engineering teams — familiarity with NPD (New Product Development) processes, hardware-software integration, or embedded systems in connected/IoT products.\n\nExperience in IoT, connected home, or cloud-native platform engineering environments is a plus\n\n#LI-LN1\n\n#LI-hybrid\n\nThe pay range for this position is $102,600.00 - $193,425.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
