and Implementation:• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures.• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.• Risk Assessment and Management:• Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments (JHA)• Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.• Training and Awareness:• Conduct EHS training sessions for employees.• Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.• Incident Investigation and Reporting:• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes.• Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.• Emergency Response:• Develop and maintain emergency response plans.• Coordinate drills and exercises to ensure preparedness.• Record Keeping and Documentation:• Maintain accurate EHS records and documentation.• Prepare reports and metrics to track EHS performance.• Continuous Improvement:• Stay updated on new EHS regulations and best practices.• Recommend improvements to EHS programs.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, related field.• Professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH) is preferred.• Minimum of 10 years' experience in EHS roles, preferably in an electric utility setting.Skills and Abilities:• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to conduct training and presentations.• Analytical skills for risk assessment and problem-solving.• Proficiency in EHS management systems and software.Working Conditions:• The role will require exposure to Industrial environments, requiring the use of personal protective equipment.• Flexibility to respond to urgent EHS matters
