This role supports production operations, continuous improvement initiatives and special projects that align with strategic goals.\n\nEssential Duties\n\nEvaluate, map and optimize process flows to improve throughput, quality and cost performance\n\nIdentify and eliminate non-value-added activities using Lean and Six Sigma tools\n\nSupport the development of manufacturing standards\n\nResearch and implement new technologies, tools and methods to improve production processes\n\nParticipate in CI initiatives, including training, mentoring and facilitating projects\n\nCollaborate with manufacturing engineering on process validation\n\nCoordinate with internal teams and external vendors as needed\n\nUse CAD tools to support manufacturing process improvement activities and to update/maintain plant layouts\n\nSupport and help implement TPM measures to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime\n\nCreate, update, and maintain technical documents, work instructions and training materials to support improvement projects and employee development\n\nSkills and Abilities\n\nTechnical, analytical and problem solving skills\n\nAbility to interpret process data, performance metrics and technical documentation\n\nProficiency in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies\n\nExperience with 5S or 6S workplace organizational practices\n\nProficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD and Inventor preferred)\n\nExcellent communication, active listening and writing skills\n\nStrong time management and organizational abilities\n\nAbility to lead, motivate and collaborate across teams\n\nEducation & Experience Requirements\n\nBachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or related field\n\nMinimum of 5 year's experience in a metalworking manufacturing environment\n\nExtensive knowledge of machining processes and Lean/Six Sigma principles\n\nExperience leading technical, engineering or production teams\n\nExport Control\nThis position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology.
