Accounting Manager – PE-Backed, High-Growth Platform (Boston | Hybrid)We’re partnering with a private equity–backed operating platform that’s scaling rapidly through acquisitions and building a centralized accounting function to support continued growth.This role is ideal for someone who started their career in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and has since moved into the private sector, gaining hands-on experience in fast-paced, evolving environments.What you’ll do:Own and run the month-end close process across multiple operating entitiesSupport and clean up accounting for newly acquired businesses (cash → accrual, process standardization, integrations)Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reportingPartner closely with the Controller and work directly with the CFOAssist with inventory, cost of sales, and margin analysisHelp build scalable processes as the company continues to grow through acquisitionsWhat we’re looking for:Background in public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred)Experience in a private, PE-backed, or acquisitive environmentStrong month-end close ownership and technical accounting foundationExposure to inventory and/or operational accounting environmentsLeadership mindset — currently managing or ready to step into people/process leadershipComfortable in fast-moving, “build as you go” settingsThe opportunity:High-visibility role with direct access to senior leadershipMeaningful acquisition exposure and career growth runwayHybrid schedule: 1 day per week in Boston (near TD Garden)Competitive base salary, bonus eligibility, and strong benefitsThis is not a maintenance role — it’s an opportunity to help build, scale, and lead within a growing platform.If interested, apply or reach out directly for a confidential conversation.
