Job description:Job Title: Psychiatrist (Onsite)Location: St. Louis, MO 63139Pay Rate: $250/hourFlexible schedule options: Five 8-hour days or four 10-hour daysSchedule: Full-Time | ~32 hours/weekAbout the Role: We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join the team at a leading mental health and forensic care facility, where you'll work within Competency Restoration and Forensic Rehabilitation Programs, treating individuals with serious mental illness (SMI). This role involves providing psychiatric assessments, treatment, and ongoing care for patients.This position requires a compassionate, collaborative professional who is dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health care, managing psychiatric cases, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers.Key Responsibilities:Provide psychiatric care to individuals with serious mental illness and antisocial traits.Work as part of a team that includes psychologists, social workers, dieticians, rehabilitation therapists, and pharmacists.Maintain accurate, timely records including Admission Notes, Weekly/Monthly Notes, and Discharge Summaries.Actively participate in the team-based approach to patient treatment and rehabilitation.Complete required documentation within specified timeframes.Required Qualifications:Medical License: Must be currently licensed to practice psychiatry in Missouri.DEA & BNDD Registration: Active Missouri Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration required.Experience: Proven experience in psychiatric care, particularly with individuals who have serious mental illness (SMI), forensic populations, or competency restoration.Skills: Strong documentation and medical record-keeping skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
