KITCHEN MANAGER Daytime Bakery Café | Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, PA Full-Time | Breakfast & Lunch Service | No Nights About the Role We are a well-established daytime bakery café in Chestnut Hill known for house-baked pastries, artisan breads, and a thoughtful breakfast and lunch menu. We are looking for a hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our small kitchen team, maintain quality, and keep daily operations running smoothly. This is a working manager role — you will be in the kitchen every day alongside your team. Key Responsibilities Oversee all kitchen operations for breakfast and lunch service Work hands-on in a working manager capacity — prep, line, and expo Hire, train, schedule, and develop a small kitchen team Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards Manage ordering, vendor relationships, and inventory Monitor food and labor costs; minimize waste Ensure full compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Collaborate with ownership on seasonal menu updates and specials Qualifications 3–5 years of kitchen management experience required Bakery, café, or breakfast/lunch concept experience strongly preferred Strong scratch cooking skills and commitment to quality Solid understanding of food cost controls and inventory management ServSafe certified or able to obtain upon hire Team-first attitude with strong communication and organizational skills No late nights , great tight community in this team and brand More detail about FTK Hospitality - Philadelphia part of FTK Hospitality, please visit
