Retail Merchandising Coordinator (Contract)Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite Tue–Thu)Duration: 3 months (possible extension)About the RoleA leading entertainment and consumer products company is seeking a detail-oriented Retail Merchandising Coordinator to support its growing retail merchandising team. This role focuses on merchandising operations, product information management, and cross-functional coordination for a large-scale retail business.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update assortment trackers, line plans, spreadsheets, and presentations.Coordinate product information, imagery, and assortment updates across teams.Manage product samples for meetings, presentations, and photo shoots.Support merchandising, design, marketing, visual merchandising, and vendor partners.Attend meetings and manage follow-up actions, documentation, and communications.Ensure accuracy and organization across merchandising materials and reporting.Required QualificationsExperience in retail merchandising support roles such as: Merchandising Coordinator, Merchandise Assistant, Buying Coordinator, Assistant Buyer, Retail Operations CoordinatorStrong understanding of retail merchandising fundamentals.Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.Excellent organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsRetail merchandising experience.Softlines, apparel, accessories, or licensed/IP product experience.E-commerce merchandising background.Experience supporting large product assortments and seasonal assortment updates.What You'll GainExposure to a fast-growing consumer products and retail organization.Experience partnering with merchandising, design, marketing, and vendor teams.Opportunity to contribute to large-scale experiential retail initiatives and product launches.
