This role will be the SME in troubleshooting all related performance issue across the organization. Additionally, the position will require an individual experienced in system design and integration, identity life-cycle management, and process automation and improvement.\nWe are looking for an individual who has a proven track record designing and maintaining VDI in a large enterprise. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who exceeds as an individual, as well as excels among peers in a team environment. The individual should possess a passion for operational excellence and a high level of interpersonal and soft skills.\nJob Duties include but are not limited to:\nIn addition to architecting and designing, the VDI Engineer will provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators in order to resolve VDI issues.\nProvide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability and act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.\nOffers endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop related tasks.\nMaintains an Advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.\nOperate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.\nApplies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.\nConducts trade studies and makes recommendations on solutions and \"make buy\" decisions.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products.\n1.5+years of experience with BS degree or a combination of years of experience and education\n2.Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer\n3.Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later\n4.Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS)\n5.Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)\n6.Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX\n7.Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)\n8.Citrix App Layering\n9.Liquidware Profile Unity\n10.Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs)\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience managing and administering Windows Server clustering\nExperience with Infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.\nSystem Center Virtual Machine Manager/Vmware Vcenter 6.7\nActive Directory/ Group Policies\nHome Directory and Profile management Support Services\nDesktop Software provisioning and Support Services\n#Rover2022\nThe likely salary range for this position is $97,258 - $131,584.
