The ideal candidate will Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications. This role is pivotal in driving our efforts in one or more phases of software systems development, systems integration, or network engineering critical to the USPS mission.\n\nWork Location: Position will require on-site work in Washington DC.\n\nDay to Day Work Responsibilities:\n\nParticipates in final system integration and validation to identify functional problems.\nDefines internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.\nCreates, documents, and analyzes the most complex test cases and provides feedback and recommendations for product or design changes.\nEnsures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards.\nIdentifies chronic or systemic problems in testing and develops and implements improvements to process.\nResponsible for preparation, execution, and management of the entire CAT testing process.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, validate test scenarios, execute test cases, and track defects through the testing lifecycle.\nWork with test leads to develop test plans.\nWrite and implement manual and automated QA test plans using technical requirements or design specifications and produce automated test cases.\nExecute and document test activities.\nConduct detailed analysis of test results found through both manual and automated testing.\nEnsure successful CAT execution as well as to prepare daily summarized outputs on progress and issue remediation plans.\nQualifications\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nAssociate's degree and 2+ years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 4+ years relevant experience.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.\nU.S Citizenship or Green Card holder.\nResiding in the U.S for the past five years with no more than 6 months travel outside the U.S. during this time frame.\nMilitary Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members)\nExperience with Java, Python, R, XML, JSON.\nExperience working in Agile and Waterfall development practices and associated testing strategies.\nExperience working with ALM, UFT, Selenium and VersionOne.\nExperience working with DB tools like SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's Degree preferred.\nExperience working with Shipping Services File and PostalOne eVS System will be preferred.\nExperience working with mail.xml is a plus. Target Salary Range\n\n$51,000 - $82,000.
