A position on our Customer Care team gives you the opportunity to be the first point‐of‐contact with our valued customers! You'll be the first to help customers, support them, and resolve issues with independence and empathy.Key Accountabilities – What You Will DoAssist customers with inbound and outbound calls to address inquiries and provide support.Manage customers' bank accounts, including balance inquiries, fund transfers, and transaction history.Resolve issues related to account discrepancies, unauthorized transactions, and other banking problems.Provide information about bank products and services such as loans, credit cards, and savings accounts.Verify customer identity to ensure security and privacy.Process service requests like account openings, closures, and changes to account details.Offer basic technical support for online banking, mobile app usage, and ATM issues.Adhere to banking regulations and internal policies to maintain compliance.Gather customer feedback to improve services and enhance satisfaction.Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.Work Location / SpaceHave an organized workstation for seamless interactions.WFH employees must live within a 70‐mile radius of a service center.WFH workspace must be clean, accessible, quiet, with no background noise or distractions.Appropriate dependent care must be in place.Employees cover all expenses for the designated home workspace.No visitors allowed while working; all information is confidential.Travel to an FNBO location for meetings, training or other onsite work is not reimbursed.WFH arrangements may be rescinded if the address change moves outside a 70‐mile radius.The Ideal Candidate – QualificationsCustomer Service Skills – strong, friendly, professional, empathetic (preferred minimum 12 months).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Problem‐solving abilities with a solution‐oriented approach.Technical proficiency with banking software and online platforms.Attention to detail for accurate processing.Time management in a fast‐paced environment.Product knowledge of bank's products and services (branch experience a plus).Adaptability to changing policies and needs.Teamwork and collaboration skills.Compliance awareness of banking regulations.Strong active listening skills.Basic sales skills to promote bank products when appropriate.High school diploma or GED required.Quiet, minimal‐distraction workspace for remote work.Fast, reliable internet connection for remote work.Open to overtime hours as needed.Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).Candidate must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.Work EnvironmentThe role will be on‐site during initial training. After training, remote work may be possible.
