ADMINISTRATIVE VACANCY The Caesar Rodney School District is accepting applications for Principal of Magnolia Middle School. Magnolia Middle School is configured for grade levels 6 through 8 in Magnolia, Delaware. The current student population is approximately 400 students.QualificationsThe candidate must possess:A minimum of a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and / or certification for School PrincipalSuccessful experience as a building administratorSuccessful experience as a classroom teacher of at least 5 years; middle level or secondary experience strongly preferredMust possess or be eligible for certification as School Principal and Assistant School PrincipalStrong leadership, consensus building and communication skillsKnowledge of effective instructional strategies for improvement of student learning and achievementProven ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and communityAn ability to facilitate change for continued student improvement and staff developmentCommitment to high academic standards and creating a rigorous, fun, inclusive academic atmosphereInternal Candidates may submit a letter of interest and a resume to Roger Holt, Director of Human Resources, AND Julie Lavender, Supervisor of Human Resources by 4pm on June 4, 2026, or apply online to be considered.SALARY: In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree.
