Senior Electronic AssemblerLocation: Alpharetta, GA Pay Rate: $24 $28 per hourJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Electronic Assembly Technician with strong microscope soldering experience to join our manufacturing team in Alpharetta, GA. This role involves performing a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations in a cross-functional production environment. This is a fully proficient, hands-on position requiring the ability to interpret technical documentation, follow detailed work instructions, and execute precision assembly tasks with minimal supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform complex electronic and electro-mechanical assembly, including microscope soldering, wiring, and component installationAssemble units using hand tools, torque wrenches, and automated production equipmentInterpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical documentationConduct cable harnessing and hand soldering operations to meet quality and performance standardsSet up and adjust equipment while maintaining tight tolerances per specificationsFollow defined processes to ensure consistent product quality and efficiencyIdentify and resolve routine assembly issues within established proceduresSupport cross-training initiatives and assist team members as neededMaintain accurate documentation and basic system updates within ERP or related systemsTypical Work EnvironmentManufacturing setting with a variety of products and cross-training opportunitiesBench-based mechanical and electronic assembly workUse of microscopes, hand tools, and torque equipmentSupervised environment during initial training, transitioning to more independent workQualifications Required (Must-Haves)Microscope soldering experience (required)Strong mechanical assembly backgroundExperience using torque wrenches and hand toolsAbility to read and follow technical drawings and written instructionsBasic computer skills (ERP systems experience preferred)Strong communication skillsPreferred (Nice-to-Haves)Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environmentsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6+ years of relevant experience, ORAssociates Degree with 2+ years of related experienceAdditional DetailsWorks under limited supervision with minimal oversightMay serve as a resource to other team membersModerate complexity role requiring sound judgment and problem-solving skillsTeam size: Approximately 8 membersAbility to lift up to 10 lbs as neededWhy Join Us?This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of projects in a collaborative and technically engaging manufacturing environment.
