You will act as the first-line representative of the company to the owners and general contractors that we work with and are critical to providing the excellent customer service that leaves a happy customer who wants to partner with us again. Additionally, by conducting secondary take-offs and managing material/equipment ordering and scheduling, you help ensure that our projects come in on time and on budget. Finally, through proper scheduling and safety material delivery, you provide our roofing crews with the tools that they need to be safe on the job and to complete the project to our quality standards. Identifying any practical problems in achieving the planned result and discuss any necessary changes with the architect and client.\r\nRequesting permits as needed.\r\nServing as main point of contact for General Contractor and/or Owner for each project at branch of responsibility.\r\nPreparing and delivering reports detailing the progress of all roofing work.\r\nProviding information/support to estimators for major change orders.\r\nAdvising Ops Admin department of substantial completion and initiate commencement of close out process.\r\nSubmitting inventory paperwork (MTOs).\r\nAdvise Ops Admin department of need for submittals and shop drawings.\r\nMaintaining a change order status log. Keeping Accounts Receivables informed of all pending and approved change orders.\r\nMay perform other duties as assigned.\r\nThe Ideal Candidate For This Role Is Someone Who\r\nShows interest in the above tasks and performs them in a positive and enthusiastic manner.\r\nHas the ability to effectively organize their schedule to ensure timely completion of all projects within scheduled timeframes.\r\nCan interact in a professional and courteous manner with all employees and managers of the Company and customers.\r\nCan receive and follow instructions with minimal oversight from their supervisor.\r\nIs diligent and has strong follow through with instructions and completing assigned tasks.\r\nCan efficiently problem solve and has strong decision-making skills.\r\nIs a Team Player.\r\nDesired Skills and Experience\r\nExtensive knowledge and experience in various commercial roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bit, Coatings, etc.\r\nProficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation\r\nBachelor's degree in construction management or a related field (preferred)\r\nThe characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
