As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of security measures to protect our organization's digital assets and infrastructure. This role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies, looking to further develop their skills and experience in a dynamic cybersecurity environment.\n\nLocation: Fort Sam Houston, TX (Local Remote)\nRequired Clearance: Secret\nRequired Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.\nRequired Experience: Five+ (5) years of relevant experience.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDeliver cyber-related input to effectively and efficiently document artifacts (e.g., Security Plans, Implementation Plans, Plan of Action & Milestones)\nUpdate/complete RMF requirements in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)\nDevelop and/or collect eMASS required documentation and upload using the tool\nTranslate security policies, implementation guidance, and requirements into cybersecurity engineering implementation and develop and make recommendations for secure technical solutions\nDevelop, track, and report on Plans of Action and Milestones\nReview, interpret, and track vulnerability scans\nReview, analyze, and recommended corrective actions for Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and resultant checklists and scans to satisfy eMASS imports and RMF requirements\nAnalyze network / system / process / IT service performance data and provide reporting to the stakeholders\nProvide input to internal project teams consisting of both system users and IT resources as well as functional proponents and Army communities to ensure effective use of IT solutions, tools, and processes.\nAnalyze network/systems/ process/ IT service performance data and vulnerability scans\n\nRequirements:\n\nExtensive knowledge of policies/directives/regulatory guidance in the Cybersecurity field.\nHave a minimum of five (5) years RMF experience in a complex network and systems environment consisting of a large diverse population of users, computers, applications, and technologies.\nExperience in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)\nExperience with vulnerability scanning tools\nMust have excellent writing skills\nMust be able to translate technical information into discussions or documentation artifacts.\nHave RMF understanding and knowledge of many of the following technologies: event logging and analysis for a Defensive Cyber Infrastructure, Cloud Computing Environments and service providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Azure) coupled with authorization processes, Overarching Cyber Forensic analytics capabilities and DoD Public Key Infrastructure for the commercial environment.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nISC2 CISSP or Equivalent\nFive years’ experience with DOD or Army hardware/software and applications development, installation, maintenance, operation, and testing efforts.\nFive years’ experience in monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, and performing corrective actions for Cybersecurity IT systems.\nExperience with Risk Management Framework, vulnerability assessments, Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) reporting, and cybersecurity problem resolution.\n\nAbout PingWind\n\nPingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government.
