Senior Platform Engineer Location: Remote (Relocate after 6 months to Los Angeles, Nashville, or Brooklyn) Duration: 12 months+ Visa: GC, Citizen, GC-EAD, H1B Interview: Phone/SkypeResponsibilities:Promote, document, and implement infrastructure and deployment best practices, building and utilizing tools that allow the team to develop and deployLeverage existing and new tools/automated workflow capabilities to enable the development teams to test and promote code to AWS environmentWork together with developers in all technical operations and works to reduce or eliminate any repetitive or manual tasksProvide operational support for all environmentsSupport developers' practices in compliance with data security standards and policiesResearch emerging technologies and provide proof of conceptParticipate production risk management by identifying and raising technical risks and issuesProvides technical support to product engineering team membersAct as emergency support team as neededBasic Qualifications:Must have bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent fieldMinimum 2 years professional engineering experience in role as Infrastructure Engineer, Software Engineer, SRE, etc.Minimum 4 years of cloud experience in infrastructure and CI/CD at scalePreferred Qualifications:• Development background is a big plus• Expert knowledge and experience with automation
