The role will focus on the EMF framework which handles deployment, management and monitoring platform for an HPC Filesystem. EMF is written fully in Rust. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, implementing, and shipping software using modern development tooling and practices.\n\nResponsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:\nSoftware design and development for new features and maintenance of existing features.\nAnalysis of bug reports and development of software fixes on multiple platforms.\nWork with the Engineering manager and a geographically distributed team to understand product requirements and features.\nContribute to and validate product documentation.\nAssist with performance tuning of features for specific environments and use-cases.\n\nQualifications:\nBS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree/experience.\n5+ years of software development experience in Linux environments with Rust, Bash scripting.\n5+ years of modern full-stack software development experience including WebAssembly, CSS and HTML preferred.\nLinux sysadmin experience valuable\nStrong team player with good communication skills and should be self-starter.\nExcellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience with JIRA, Jenkins, Gerrit, Git, and Github preferred.\nPrior experience working with enterprise-class or HPC storage systems and/or distributed systems a bonus\nDDN:\nOur team is highly motivated and focused on engineering excellence.\nWe look for individuals who appreciate challenging themselves and thrive on curiosity.\nEngineers are encouraged to work across multiple areas of the company.\nWe operate with a flat organizational structure.\nAll employees are expected to be hands-on and to contribute directly to the company’s mission.\nLeadership is given to those who show initiative and consistently deliver excellence.
