Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire.\n\nSolidus is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join a flagship program within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business unit. In this role, you will apply your expertise in requirements development, architecture and design refinement, systems engineering analysis, scripting, and interface definition and control to help drive mission-critical solutions in a dynamic and impactful environment.\n\nDay in the Life:\nElaborate capabilities and features, define system interfaces and help determine how system functional capability and performance will be validated and verified by the test team\nAnalyze and define how the system works creating use cases\nSupport the execution of the integration and test program by automating test\nprocedures and subsequent analyses\nIdentify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with engineers to drive solutions to closure\nManage the team's backlog and capacity during each program increment\nSupport Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation and execution\nCollaborate with program management and engineering teams to ensure alignment of scope, schedule, and budget\nConduct investigation into system anomalies to identify root cause\nSupport and attend technical reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program\nOther duties as assigned\n\nRequired Qualifications & Experience:\nActive TS/SCI clearance is required\nBachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) in a related field\n10 years of relevant experience\nCultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment\nExperience with systems engineering lifecycle, roles and functions, with specific\n experience in one or more of the following areas: Concept of Operations (ConOps)\n development, capability and feature elaboration and management, program increment\n support, functional analysis or interface definition and contro\nDevelopment experience on a government contract\nExperience with Agile principles, to include Agile systems engineering practices and/or\n Agile roles such as Scrum Master / Product Owner\n\nPreferred Qualifications & Experience:\nDevelopment experience in project domain (e.g., mission management large-scale\nground systems, space-based ISR platforms)\nExperience working in an Agile development environment and with Agile development\ntools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)\nExperience with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler)\nExperience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, Groovy, or Ruby\nExperience building automation, developer tooling, and lifecycle reporting for large,\ndistributed software programs\nExperience with test automation tools (Cucumber, Gherkin, Behave)\nExperience with requirements management in DOORS or other requirements\ndatabases\n\nBenefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary.\nFull benefits: $172,500 to $215,500 annually\nReduced benefits (no medical, dental, vision): Up to $233,000 annually\n\nWhat we will bring:\nSolidus offers you an exciting opportunity to tackle the nation's greatest challenges applying innovation and expertise to produce cutting-edge results that have a long-lasting impact.
