This is a full-time opportunity for individuals interested in a hands-on role testing construction materials and supporting infrastructure development. Whether you're starting your career or looking to grow in civil or geotechnical engineering, we want to hear from you.\nCompensation: $18-20/hour (depending on experience)\nLocation: Ogden, UT\nFLSA Exemption: Non-Exempt\nSchedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (schedule may vary)\nWhat you'll be doing:\nReceive and test construction materials such as soils, aggregates, and concrete\nPerform laboratory testing including:\nMoisture Content\nSieve Analysis\nAtterberg Limits\nProctor Compaction\nConsolidation\nDirect Shear\nCompressive Strength\nRecord accurate data and report findings to the Laboratory Manager\nMaintain lab equipment and workspace according to safety and quality standards\nWhat you have:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nValid driver's license\nAbility to lift up to 60 lbs\nStrong work ethic and attention to detail\nWillingness to follow procedures and contribute to team success\nWhat will make you stand out:\n1 year of experience in a similar lab or materials testing role\nACI or WAQTC certifications\nCoursework or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or geology\nPreferred Certification(s):\nACI – Concrete Field Testing Technician\nWAQTC – Soils, Aggregate, or Asphalt\nCMT Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
