Work includes development of new capabilities and features, as well as maintenance of the existing product line. We develop software applications using real-time, embedded C++ running in a Linux-based operating system.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nWrite code to power a globalized network of radar sensors.\nWrite well-designed, testable and efficient code that meets technical requirements.\nParticipate in a highly collaborative team environment, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle using Agile/SCRUM methodologies.\nAssist in the troubleshooting of code defects and deployment of timely fixes.\nDeliver projects on time and with attention to quality.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering or equivalent.\nUp to four (4) years’ experience in software engineering.\nAbility to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance.\nExperience in Software Engineering phases (requirements, design, code, test and integration).\nExperience with object-oriented software development experience using C++.\nExperience working with a Linux-based Operating System.\nExperience in Agile development methods, including Scrum, automated testing, static code analysis and continuous integration.\nEffective written, oral, and presentation skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project).\nPursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience using modern software design methodologies (e.g. UML 2.0).\nFamiliarity with the following tools: Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, etc), Jenkins, Coverity, Cameo\nExperience with real-time embedded software development.\nData Fusion and/or Radar domain knowledge.\nKnowledge of or experience in communications methods and protocols (TCP, UDP, RTI DDS, etc).\nExperience with Google Test Framework\nKnowledge of U.S. Navy Combat Systems.\nADA Notations:\nRegular communication (hearing/speaking).\nNoise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.\nProlonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).\nFrequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.\nAbility to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.\n\nEpsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
