As a core technical contributor, you will be responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.\n\nJob responsibilities:\n\nExecute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting for platform applications, thinking beyond routine approaches to solve technical problems.\nWrites secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language and addresses basic code quality issues.\nProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.\nRespond to incidents, assist in troubleshooting, and implement fixes to restore platform stability.\nCollaborate with other engineers and teams to enhance platform performance, reliability, and resiliency.\nActively applies automation to reduce manual toil in the Software Development Life Cycle\nEnsure compliance with security, internal controls, and regulatory standards.\n\nRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:\n\nFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.\nHands-on practical experience in application development, testing, and operational stability\nProficient in coding in one or more modern programming languages (Python, Java/Spring Boot, etc.) and experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a corporate environment\nSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security\nDemonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline\nBasic knowledge of industry-wide technology trends, security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security\nKnowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills.\n\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:\n\nObservability Tools (e.g. Splunk, Grafana)\nData Streaming Frameworks\nAWS services\nKubernetes\nABOUT US\n\nJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
