Prepare plant science laboratory materials. Prepare and press plant specimens Order and inventory supplies. Prepare potting soil. Monitor temperature changes and make necessary adjustments. Water plants on weekends as needed. Assist maintenance with watering. Apply pesticides and other chemicals as needed. Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfullycomplete the responsibilities of the position. Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices. Instruct Lets Get Growing outreach course.SECONDARY - Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Department 2Chairperson and/or the program coordinator.
