Teacher: Marketing -Chapter 74 Vocational Education Program - Worcester Technical High 2026-2027

Worcester Technical High School is soliciting applications for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful applicant will be accountable for teaching students the Finance and Marketing Chapter 74 Career Vocational Technical Education (CVTE) state frameworks and curriculum disciplines.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (to be included along with other responsibilities)1 Responsible for the development and implementation of departmental curriculum objectives and competencies.2. Responsible for the integration of the department's curriculum where appropriate.3. Performance of other job-related duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:1. Massachusetts DESE Chapter 74 teacher's licensure in Marketing or ability to be licensed2. SEI Endorsement3. Bachelors Degree4. Evidence of mastery of a wide variety of teacher competencies and the understanding of instructional techniques.5. Three years of full-time employment experience directly related to marketing.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:1. Advanced educational preparation.2. Evidence of educational leadership.3. OSHA Trainer4. Evidence of good human relation skills.5. Demonstrated experience supporting students with special needs7. Ability to speak Albanian, Arabic, Nepali, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese or an African Language.8. Demonstrated experience with second language acquisitionWORK YEAR: 185 daysSALARY: Salary scale shown is based on the candidate meeting the requirements for Vocational Level 1.
