{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b3e7932e8840346849697c20","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b3e7932e8840346849697c20","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b3e7932e8840346849697c20","title":"Utility Cleaner","description":"Utility Cleaner– Joint Base Anacostia- BollingCompetitive Wages and Employer Paid Health Insurance!\nUtility Cleaners will be responsible for the cleanliness of communal spaces, restrooms, workspaces, and outside areas as assigned and performs a variety of duties that involve sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting and polishing of surfaces and floors; removing trash; re-stocking supplies; and cleaning restrooms.\nFLEXIBLE SCHEDULE!\nSalary\n$33.06/ hr. plus employer paid health benefits and pension!\nKey Responsibilities\nMop tile and concrete floor areas and vacuum carpeted areas\nSweep, dust, scrub, wax, buff, and strip floors as necessary\nClean and disinfect restrooms, including but not limited to urinals, toilets, toilet seats, sinks, mirrors, fixtures, hand dryers, floors, walls, showers and locker rooms\nClean and disinfect breakroom and kitchen tables, sinks, counters, and refrigerator\nEmpty waste baskets and interior and perimeter garbage cans and place garbage in outside storage bins\nDust furniture, equipment, blinds, and light fixtures\nClean mirrors and interior window surfaces and surrounding areas\nClean entrances and exits, washing finger marks from glass, doors, walls and hardware, and keeping outside area clear of pebbles, snow, cans, paper, etc.\nClean and disinfect drinking fountains\nReport damage and acts of vandalism and report and/or perform minor maintenance repairs\nUse cleaning equipment, including electric floor buffers, commercial vacuums, wet mops, large wringers and other necessary equipment, tools, and supplies\nRefill hand soap and paper towel dispensers and re-stock toilet paper as needed\nMix and use cleaning chemicals and products in accordance with instructions\nEnsure cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner and an adequate supply is maintained.\nMove and/or relocate furniture\nComply with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the contract, facility and job assignment\nPerform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested\nEssential Skills\nKnowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment\nKnowledge of the Hazardous Materials Information System\nAbility to read and understand instructions and labels, particularly on the use and application of cleaning chemicals and products\n\nRequirements\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\nMUST have Top Secret Clearance\nMUST have SCI eligibility\n1 year experience in Custodial field in the last three years\nincluding floor care-stripping, waxing, buffing\nValid Driver's License compliant with REAL ID Act or are you willing and able to obtain one\nPass a pre-employment drug screening and background check\nRegular, dependable attendance\nU.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations\nPreferred Qualifications\nTS/SCI clearance\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to carry, push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds.\nMust be able to grasp or handle objects, bend elbows and knees, and reach above shoulders\nPhysical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
